The short version
Bhagavad Gita does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking of any kind. We never see who you are or what you read.
What stays on your device
Your reading progress — which verses have opened, your day count, streak, milestones, and your chosen language — is stored only on your device. It never leaves your phone and is never sent to us or anyone else. If you delete the app, that information is gone with it.
Content delivery
To show you each verse, the app downloads its text and audio from our content server (and caches them on your device so they work offline afterward). These are ordinary content requests for scripture — they carry no personal information, no account, and no identifiers. As with any internet request, our hosting provider may process standard technical data such as IP address solely to deliver the files and protect the service; this is not used to identify or profile you.
No tracking, no ads
The app contains no advertising SDKs, no analytics SDKs, and no social or marketing trackers. Nothing about your activity is measured or monetised.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
